I am read a lot of myths and propaganda. For example myth about Molotov Ribbentrop Pact depicted as a sin of Russian people. Who criticizes should put his arse on the place of Soviets in 1939:
August 1939, your troops already fight with Japanese in Mongolia and you know that Hitler will attack Poland very soon (everyone knowed about it, even Poland), you getting nice perspectives of war on two fronts in near future and your army is not ready for that.

Just 1 week before the war (23 August 1939) nazi minister of foreign affairs Ribbentrop come in your capital and says: "let's conclude a nonaggression pact"; say "No"??? on what basis??? That France and Britain in alliance with you? No, they are not in alliance with you and will not. They despise you (Britain even wishes to turn the Nazis against you). You are tried to negotiate with them before and it has not brought any results. Poland in alliance with you? No, it hates you as well.
So other option, to accept German offer and give a chance for yourself, to get additional time for rearming, protect yourself from the perspectives of war on 2 fronts.
Only sick will choose first option.

The policy of the USA and Great Britain was no other than letting Germans and Russians fight each others to the death.

They didn't know!

The French had a defense plan, not an offensive.
France was divided in 4 sectors.
Their strategy seems to be the same as in World War I..
Let them come.
They had no idea of what blitzkrieg was.

But the French could have easily rushed into the area west of the river Rhine.
That would have given Hitler a bad hair day.
In may 1940 there were French troops in the south of The Netherlands to attack around the Siegfried Line, but they were too late, and had to retreat.

Nobody knows what they were thinking.
But in their view it would be nice if Russia and Germany started a war against each other.

The problem however was, Russia didn't have a reason to start a war against Germany.
But Germany didn't have any advantage for the Soviet Union.
Stalin was an opportunist, just like Hitler.

Well, the French military top brass had a right wing mentality, and it would be no surprise they even had sympathy for Hitler.

In 1920 Red Army planned to conquer all Europe in hope to bring the communism to all European countries. We stooped this sick idea in 1920 in Semptember . When Polish Army fought Red Army , Czechoslovakian Army took over Zaolzie which belonged to Poland.

Britain and France did declare war on Germany when it invaded Poland. Being able to do something about it is another matter. They had been hoping against hope for so long that if they just gave Hitler everything he asked for nothing terrible would happen that they were totally unprepared to fight Germany even in defense of themselves, much less sending troops to Poland. It was the Communist USSR which took half of Poland. Britain and France got nothing for it. The next to go down was France.

Britain held out for a while, helped by the fact it's an island, although I think if Germany had invaded right around the time Dunkirk, they could have taken Britain down. By hesitating they gave the U.S. time to resupply Britain.

Indeed. They dragged Europe into war three times in a century if you count the Franco-Prussian War. They were defeated all three times. Unfortunately, millions died in the process. In World War I an entire generation of young men was wiped out. In World War II the carnage spread throughout the civilian populations and into whole ethnic groups.

If the poster wants to see what defeated looks like he should look at pictures of Germany in 1945, and the pictures of all those German POWs.

Because there was a pact between two Powers, Germany and the Soviet Union, Molotov-Ribentrop pact.
