Using all samples (Italians, Lombards and mixed), the closest modern populations are Friuli (6.3), Trentino (7.2) and Aosta Valley (7.9).
Taking into account only samples that seemed to be Italian with no Germanic ancestry, the closest populations are Abruzzo (4.0), Marche (5.8), Lazio, Campania and Sicily (all three around 6.0).
