Still not sure about the distances in G25. My guess is 0.025 and lower is close and 0.035-0.045 is related/average fit/fits within the population. 0.8-0.11 some relatedness but will not fit within the population. 0.14-0.2 some connection but not much.

Judging from your results you don't seem to be a descendant of Serbian colonists during the time when Serbia occupied the territory of present day North Macedonia and called it Vardarska Banovina.

May I ask you what language or more appropriate what dialect you speak at home?

I assume you were born or live in N.Macedonia?

No, I am born in Serbia. I have grandparents born in Macedonia, all from Drimkol area.

I don't understand why you go around and call people clowns and 'Siptari'(derogatory Serbian term for Albanians for those who don't know) for simply stating well known historical facts?
I personally know people who are descendants of these colonists that were systematically and intentionally settled by the kingdom of SHS especially in the eastern and the southern regions.
They are kind people and loyal to the country but facts are facts, it's not something I came up with.
Many other countries through history used the colonisation as a measure to change the ethnic component on a territory which was recently acquired.

He was a bit angry because you call Serbs from Macedonia colonists, implying that everyone can be native to Balkan except Serbs. However, if your ancestors moved from Aegean region in the early 20th century then you're colonist as well in Macedonia :)
 
Yes thats right. Everyone is very "native" while Serbs only ones colonists. Serbia free Vardarska from Ottomans in balkan war. In ww1 we lost more than millions of lifes losing 28% populations for freedom. Did any other around us died for territories like us? we are colonists then why didn't you all die like us for freedom? let me hear it

I would say a migrant because colonization is an organised process, mainly by states and governments.
A migration can involve groups or individuals simply changing places of living mostly because of personal reasons.

Nevertheless I was just interested for you because I am from N.Macedonia and we have very similar ancestry composition.
Nevertheless, ethnicity is a cultural thing, not genetic.

I am not denying the existence of Serbs in the region of Macedonia prior the 20th century.
However there were also people colonised by the Kingdom of SHS from Serbia and beyond and these mostly have different ancestry composition(not totally different) but still easily recognisable from someone whose ancestral ties with the region of Macedonia date well before the 20th century.
Hence why I asked him that question.. Duh
 
I don't know what is Macedonia i know there is Macedonia in Greece. Vardarska was part of Serbia in medieval time too is it so hard to check information? tell me when did that land ever wear name "Albania" ? why did not Albanians lose 28% population for territories that they think its theirs?

Skopje From 1282 was part of the Serbia and was capital city from 1346 to 1371. Albania did not existed then.
