What is Slavic Macedonian tongue? after balkan war Serbia split Macedonia with Bulgaria and Greece, we got Vardarska, Greeks Aegean
Bulgarians Pirin. Bulgaria tried to take all but got crushed. In Repsect to Greeks that Macedonia name only have meaning in their language we just say Vardarska or simply South Serbia. There is no Maceodnian slav or Bosnians or Montenegrins made up nations by Tito to crush Serbs
No, Macedonians are Macedonians. They may had this or that ethnic identity in the past, but it all changes, evolves over time, so it doesn't even matter. In the region where my ancestors come from majority was actually self-identified as Bulgarians in the late 19th century, and Serbs were only a minority. Its mostly related to the church organization you would belonged to, and the traditions your family kept.
Serbs in Macedonia were and still are minority, but by majority they did not move from Serbia or Bosnia (I heard this claim once or twice by some people), with the exceptions of some folks that arrived from south of Kosovo. However, I doubt their present descendants would deviate much from Macedonian average today because they arrived long ago, not in 20th century, and because there were intermarriage with Macedonians.
