Genetic study South Albania Tumulus DNA samples

So the more deep we dig the more admixed we end up.

There was no smoke without fire in archaeological records it looks. Anyway.

It's not easy to publish that paper. The resistance to publish papers in the areas related to ancient Macedonia is very strong.

is it this paper? It seems out

Its not that. Not a single result from Albania

He was radiocarbon dated, so the date should be accurate. However, he is a super low quality sample so probably that’s why it behaves oddly. I don’t think samples of that quality should be used for autosomal analysis. I was even thinking of removing it from that map because he only has one call each on PF6576 and PF7563.

From the new preprint, they ran IBD comparisons on our mystery Barc sample. Guess what I was 100% right.

It only has a single strand with one of the LBA montenegrin Illyrians and zero links to samples from early medieval and post-medevial Albania or Albanians in general. I told you and many others the sample is LBA, learn to accept my prowess.

And I will call out the authors for being bitter. They make no mention of the sample at all, they swiped it under the rug quietly, the only reason for neglecting to acknowledge the IBD results is because it would reaffirm what I said and enforce my reputation. I was the first to point it out here and in anthrogenica(where I was viciously attacked).

We can safely say, we already have a prelude to the Kamenica matt-painted samples.

The Akhabri database has no new samples from IA Albania at least not southern Albania, it is clear there are no LBA or IA samples that are part of two big projects like 1200 BC.

There is lots of new R-PF7563 and R-BY251, and the R-BY251s are almost all from Iron Age Italy, so the Messapi, Peucians and Daunians have been sampled thoroughly

The new samples are the Greek plotting and the possible Phrygian and Messapii. The samples next to Cinamak are the Xania BA R-PF7563 and the miss-dated sample from Korca. The older Messapi samples are the most WHG shifted, that is they are thoroughly mixed with Italic tribes. They shift back towards Cinamak as the Iron Age comes to a close, which implies Levant admixture increasing with time.

I plotted the R-Z2103 and J-L283 from SW region, based on their dates they range(900 BC - 300 BC) from same period as R-PF7563s.

While there is overlap, it is partial and the oldest samples have no overlap while the younger do. In terms of IBDs, only one sample has big fragment sharing with J-L283 and it's a younger sample from the tail end of the Iron Age, while the older samples are largely their own and share IBDs with R-L151s and fellow R-PF7563. One of the older samples has some strong IBDs with two R-CTS9219.

Even in the new world, R-PF7563 kept its own cluster and IBD network. It would be nice to see the actual location of the samples.
