I think such contact occurred within the Unetice Culture (Italo-Celtic, Germanic, Balto-Slavic living side by side and interacting) and later to some extent in the amber trade and interactions along the Amber Road.Interesting bunch of words with almost always clear correspondances for meaning: the IE family, in short - When I 've time I 'll took my Slavic(s) dictionaries and try to put Celtic corresponding words; but in fact, the links found beween Slavic and Celtic are found for the most in other IE parents, like Italic or Germanic... the kernel of Celto-Italic ad Germanic has been in contact with Slavs or/and Balto-Slavs in central Europe, I think.
