You can't just put crazy sh*t as "a fact" and expect everyone to go "oooh, so that's how it is"
other than that i'd say it's good you're no longer friends with the racist![]()
it is true that Islam and Christianity are interpretations of one another.
Give her some credit, she already said that Christianity is older. May be just incorrect wording.Mike in Japan said:Christianity preceeded Islam by many hundreds of years. It became quite well developed and its doctrines were well defined a LONG time before Muhamed was even a twinkle in his father's eye.
How, therefore, can it be an interpretation of something which did not then exist?
I don't think that there are all too many Muslim teachers who encourage people to do so. One would be already too many, though.I am not a Muslim because, not all but, too many of its teachers encourage people to go around murdering innocent men, women and children.
Credit for what? Intentionally or unintentionally misleading people? No.it is true that Islam and Christianity are interpretations of one another
Huh? Sorry, but again I find myself ROFLI don't think that there are all too many Muslim teachers who encourage people to do so. One would be already too many, though.
Just because it isn't written doesn't mean its not there and that it never happened. Do the "Crusades" ring a bell. Christian religion is often used as an excuse for ethnic cleansing. (e.g) Ummm.. how about the KKK, or the Holocaust. Would you like more examples...Mike in Japan said:Really? Do Christians have their own name for this Jihad?
It's news to me. ROFL
Duo said:The holocaust wasn't really a chritian thing. It was more of a genetic issue of races, that hitler developed because he thought that the jews were ruining the european race.
We don't even have to go back to the crusades (which would be the Christian name you asked for). Does the LRA (Lord's Resistance Army) ring a bell?Mike in Japan said:Really? Do Christians have their own name for this Jihad?

Which shows that you are pretty ignorant. Terrorism has been condemned by many Muslim clerics worldwide. Most current islamic scholars seem to agree that killing innocents is not the way of Islam. You may have a look at this text regarding Bin Laden's call for Jihad against the US.Huh? Sorry, but again I find myself ROFL
cicatriz esp said:To equate or connect the holocaust with christianity is really, really stupid. The third reich's philosophy had nothing to do with christianity.
Bombing abortion clinics is the closest you can come to any sort of nutty christian jihad these days.
