On Nevgen predicator, if you select E haplogroup on the setting and run it, you'll get E-BY5481 : E-V13 > E-CTS8814 > E-CTS5856 > E-BY4877 > E-BY3880 > E-FGC44169 > E-S7461 > E-BY5022 > E-FGC57496 > E-BY5465 > E-BY5490 > E-BY79026 > E-BY5474 > E-BY5481

I wondered about such a prominent English lineage having no tested branch members on FTDNA, this answers that, there are some tested English branch members.

James Bowie

James Bowie (/ˈbuːi/ BOO-ee[1][2][3])[a] (c. 1796 – March 6, 1836) was a 19th-century American pioneer, slave smuggler and trader, and soldier who played a prominent role in the Texas Revolution. He was among the Americans who died at the Battle of the Alamo. Stories of him as a fighter and frontiersman, both real and fictitious, have made him a legendary figure in Texas history and a folk hero of American culture.

Albert’s detailed haplogroup was determined by Big Y testing of Arthur Einstein Jr, a distant cousin of Albert. Arthur found a letter in his attic addressed to his grandfather in which Albert explained that he had researched his genealogy and believed they were cousins. Arthur is a descendant of Naphtali Hirsch Einstein (1733-1799), Albert’s great-great-grandfather.

The Y-DNA result also revealed that the Einstein lineage, named EMC2 in honor of Albert’s famous equation, is distantly related to archaeological remains of a 12th-century Ashkenazi man found in a well in Norwich, England. He is believed to have been killed during a documented 1190 AD antisemitic violence outbreak against Jews during the time of the Third Crusade.

he is indeed one of the greatest minds
that e1b1b1 ever produced but the brothers wright are not shy also ;)
2 points worth mention that i can't ignore :
1) he belonged to Ashkenazi ethnicity ( which they usually have high i.q)
2) he was born and grew up in Germany were they had the resources + high culture +a good environment
to developed great minds

American Evangelical Christian minister Rick Warren was a on the TV show "Finding Your Roots" with Henry Louis Gates, season 1, episode 5. His paternal ancestry according to a DNA test for this episode showed that he belongs to haplogroup E1b1b1a.

Earl Warren (1891-1974) was an American politician and jurist who served as Governor of California from 1943 to 1953 and Chief Justice of the United States from 1953 to 1969. The "Warren Court" presided over a major shift in American constitutional jurisprudence, which has been recognized by many as a "Constitutional Revolution" in the liberal direction, with Warren writing the majority opinions in landmark cases such as Brown v. Board of Education (1954), Reynolds v. Sims (1964), Miranda v. Arizona (1966) and Loving v. Virginia (1967). Warren also led the Warren Commission, a presidential commission that investigated the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy. He is the last Chief Justice to have served in an elected office before entering the Supreme Court, and is generally considered to be one of the most influential Supreme Court justices and political leaders in the history of the United States.

His ancestor hailed from Norway and changed their surname to Warren after emigrating to the United States. The Warren DNA Project only has one lineage from Norway (kit N50625) and it is E-V13. It is not conclusive proof as the details of that testee are not made public, but how many people are they who took the English surname Warren with patrilineal roots in Norway? The odds are pretty high that this is indeed Earl Warren's family.

220px-Earl_Warren.jpg

Both of them might be descendants of Richard Warren, a Mayflower passenger:
The Mayflower DNA Project and the Warren surname DNA Project "Group *Warren - Group CC" identifies two male Warrens, both of whom have Big Y tested and fall under E-M35. Both of these individuals descend from Cornelius6 Warren (Samuel5, Samuel4, Richard3, Nathaniel2, Richard1). Recently a third individual has joined the Mayflower DNA project and has 111 Y-STR tested, and matching the previous two individuals. This individual descends from a different son of Richard

His confirmed haplogroup is: https://discover.familytreedna.com/y-dna/E-FTC19215/tree

Up until recently, it wasn't 100 % safe, because only 2 members from one later branch did the BigY test. But just recently two additional ones did test, one Warren from a very old branch/other descendent of Richard Warren than the first two testers and this confirmed it with a TMRCA of around 1650.

Therefore it is pretty likely that a lot of Warrens in the USA descend from this Richard Warren, Mayflower passenger, and have his very specific subclade of E-V13/Z5018/S2979/L241.

About Richard Warren:

Edit: Earl Warren might indeed be from Norway and not of old American English stock. So he probably is from a different branch altogether.

Syrian yseq twitter:

I guess they checked one of his paternal relatives

Prince Fouad Chehab: He is the third president of the Lebanese Republic after independence. He was born in the city of Hasbaya in 1902. He is a descendant of Prince Hassan, brother of Prince Bashir II. On the lineage E-M123 according to the following sequence:E-M123 > FT20896 > FGC62222 > PF4428 > FGC62255 > FGC62258 > FGC62257
