I knew something like that will come. That's why I said "
but I don't support to talk about too much these visual terms."
None of Country which is just rich of underground resources, can't be example for ideal economy.
As Edison said we have just found a way which didn't work.
How do you supporting a economy type which always need to be grow? Can't you see darkness in the end of this circle?
Did Edison try something that failed again and again? No, he always tried different things, till he succeeded. That's why he was successful.
To try socialism or communism in economy again and again, knowing that it failed so many times, is just madness.
None of Country which is just rich of underground resources, can't be example for ideal economy.
Sure, but we have many examples of capitalist based economy in countries without natural resources or few natural resources, like Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Holland, Sweden, Switzerland, Israel, and feel free to expand the list. On other hand we have examples of countries rich in natural resources which failed under socialistic economy, like USSR, Venezuela, China, which can tell us a lot how successful socialist economy is. Also, we have many examples of tried socialism in Western Europe during 70s and 80s, when big part of economic sectors were nationalized, which caused economic stagnation and civic unrest in many countries. In 90s and 2000s we saw full reverse towards privatization (capitalism) and regained production and growth.
This reverse from socialism didn't happen in Greece, of course, with known consequences. During this time China opened a big part of its economy to capitalism, which created an explosive growth, creation of 400 million strong middle class, modern cities, modern infrastructure, monumental projects, and nobody dies of hunger in China anymore.
Should we continue with more examples to determine that socialist economy works or not?
It is a different subject how much social programs (socialism, as taking care of society) we should have or afford in countries with capitalist economy. When talking about socialism there are two somewhat different issues. One is economy, the other social structure and assistance programs. After many years of experimentation, West have a model of capitalist production economy, with very strong socialist assistance programs and wealth sharing. The paradox is that the strongest the capitalism in production the more money is made and spent for social services like education, healthcare, social assistance, maternity leave, unemployment support, vacation time, etc.
