Immigration sexual harassments by immigrants

It was just a post above #103:

Are you illiterate?

What racist things? Please, cite my racist comments, or this accusation of yours is going in front of Eupedia moderators.

I want you to take back your insinuations that what happened is Köln is normal European behaviour.
It was very irrespectful and insulting. I call that racism.

Dear Angela,

I tend to like you, but you make a number of mistakes here. First you state:

I have nothing but compassion for women who are actually sexually assaulted, and I've actually done something to try to ameliorate the situation, unlike any of you, but are we really supposed to take the picture of a man spewing water or soda at a woman as the face or "image" of these horrendous crimes? Is that basically the extent of what happened in the vast majority of the cases? This picture hasn't become iconic because he happens to have a very prominent and Semitic nose?

No, the picture is iconic because it describes what many, many women have experienced in European cities. Noses have very little to with it.

You should go to Mardi Gras in New Orleans; the streets are clogged with drunk "white" men spewing their guts all over everybody. If they arrested all of them there wouldn't be enough room in the state penal system to hold them. One of them vomited all over my Bruno Magli shoes. I got so mad I pushed him right into the street to land on top of a pile of it. Know how hard I worked to earn them? Plenty of groping, too, and a woman would have had to be mad to walk down side streets alone. Hell, on crowded subways in New York I deliberately wore my spike heels instead of keeping them in my bag to put on at work. As soon as I felt a hand I'd just yell at the top of my lungs and stomp on whatever male feet were closest. That was before Rudy, bless him, cleaned them up. Have to say Louis Sliwa and his made a difference too. That's what aggressive policing and volunteer patrols are all about.

OK, lets wait and see if the Germans during Mardi Grass in Cologne be just as bad. We'll know next month. O, and having your shoes puked upon is a completely different thing than being spat at because you are considered a filthy whore. However gross the vomiting is.

You don't want to hear about that, however. Instead of coming up with constructive propositions, you just want to rant.

I gather this is addressed at me? You do realize that my last reactions were about the current sentiment, not about my opinion?

What started out as a reasonable discussion has just turned into hysteria. Men who in one post said no woman's word should be taken at face value now want to accept every accusation and newspaper report as gospel. People who agreed with me when I said that many of the cases in the U.S. where police were accused of racist murders of young black men were driven by unsubstantiated rumors (most notoriously the "Hands Up Don't Shoot" BS that never happened) now believe every report in every ultra right wing anti-immigrant rag.

I simply commented on the statement by LeBrok that he was convinced that part of the complaints were due to neo-nazi sympathies. Some postings here point to the rising number of complaints, but the overall picture that emerged was due to eye witnesses that appeared on serious main stream media, social media and personal accounts. From all sides the same picture emerged. The complaints were filed only a long time later, after the picture emerged and it became clear that the authorities had failed and tried to cover up the fact that a lot, if not all, of these were attacks were done by recent asylum seekers.

Obviously, some bad stuff happened and action has to be taken, but exaggeration as to both the quantity and quality of the incidents just feeds the hysteria and is starting to look agenda driven.

As I said before, originally this was kept rather silent by the police, who claimed it was a very nice and cosy new years eve in a press release. Unless you think all the reports that surfaces afterwards were exaggerations, I see only one agenda at work here. The "Don't give oxygen to the right wing" agenda.

I don't know how many actual assaults and batteries were committed, and neither do any of you. If the police didn't want to or were instructed not to inflame the situation because immigrants were involved, that's obviously a problem, but to turn this into some sort of vast conspiracy is ridiculous.

OK. We have so far: Swedish police claiming that festivals went in great harmony which had a similar sexual harrassment and admitting they did so because they didn't want to foment right wing sentiments (Linked somewhere above). We have the Rotherham cases where the police didn't want to act on cases of white girls being groomed by Asian (Read: Pakistani) gangs out of fear for being called racist and did not want to have it in the news in order not to give oxygen to racism. We have reports of German police admitting to never ever give press releases about severe crimes where asylum seekers are involved. We have the cover up on Cologne, Bielefeld. But we are to think this is... not inflaming the situation? Good grief.

Europe is in this mess because you're all so consumed by your tribalism that you weren't able to organize an effective response to the situation, not to mention your cowardice in refusing to confront what was going on in the Near East, a cowardice in which you were joined by the present American administration. Then, of course, there's the normal incompetence of government, an incompetence that grows as government grows. I've yet to see many Europeans understand that, however. Instead, there's this pervasive idea that government can take care of all your problems. You want nanny government to take care of you from cradle to grave, and that doesn't leave anything for your defense against outside threats or for adequately staffed and trained police forces either, apparently.

What exactly should Europe have done in the Middle-East? The military option, as was done in Iraq and Libya? If not, then what exactly?

The only difference I can see between the left and the right in Europe is that the left has some tolerance of immigration, and the right would probably happily vote in Hitler again.

I will pass the opportunity to ask you if this is part of the hysteria you mentioned. Nobody would vote Hitler today because the main attraction and the main characteristic of fascism was anti-pacifism and anti-democracy. You should, would you ever find the time, read Ortega Y Gassets book "The Revolt of the Masses". It describes the sentiment of the time nicely, apart from being an amazingly smart book.

Now we know you are a conspirator theorist too.
They did it all, the organized World Social Whatever. Please, give your government and bureaucrats of all levels some credit for "screwing up". Afterall, government and police are known for incompetence, bad ideas, corruption, slow reflexes, low adaptability, stupidity, ignorance, and feel free to extend the list. The last thing, all the previous governments of Holland and others and all the bureaucrats, had in common is united idea about anything. How naive it is to declare that they conspired, influenced by international social forces, for long decades just to screw up ordinary citizen of Holland, Germany or Sweden.
Unless you truly want to believe in it, then even imaginary things become reality. Especially the scary scenarios. They want to get you...oh, they really do.
Looks like paranoia to me.

Do you actually read any of the links? There are a number of articles that explicitly explain that the police will not publish about crimes if it involves minorities in order not to feed right wing sentiments. Cases to be found in: Sweden, Germany and England. Links to articles that explain these case are provided in this thread.

Now we know, you are against any immigrants in your country, regardless if they are good or bad people. Your agenda now is very simple to understand, use any material or means to discredit them and get them out. You are very transparent now. Just don't claim you need any statistics to do that. You don't want them, you don't like them, period. I don't get why you pretend to post anything objective about immigrants and want to have rational discussion?

But have you taken a look at figure 2 yet?

Unpopular ideas can be silenced, and inconvenient facts kept dark, without the need for any official ban. Anyone who has lived long in a foreign country will know of instances of sensational items of news — things which on their own merits would get the big headlines-being kept right out of the British press, not because the Government intervened but because of a general tacit agreement that ‘it wouldn’t do’ to mention that particular fact.

So far as the daily newspapers go, this is easy to understand. The British press is extremely centralised, and most of it is owned by wealthy men who have every motive to be dishonest on certain important topics. But the same kind of veiled censorship also operates in books and periodicals, as well as in plays, films and radio. At any given moment there is an orthodoxy, a body of ideas which it is assumed that all right-thinking people will accept without question. It is not exactly forbidden to say this, that or the other, but it is ‘not done’ to say it, just as in mid-Victorian times it was ‘not done’ to mention trousers in the presence of a lady. Anyone who challenges the prevailing orthodoxy finds himself silenced with surprising effectiveness. A genuinely unfashionable opinion is almost never given a fair hearing, either in the popular press or in the highbrow periodicals.

epoch;474188]Dear Angela,

Well, maybe I shouldn't have brought up the vomiting on my shoes. :) I guess that years later I'm still pissed; it's the first thing I remember about Mardi Gras and New Orleans. I was only there because there was a massive snow storm in the northeast and my plane had to land there. It was my first and last trip btw; even the food and the music aren't enough to redeem it in my opinon. My point is that the groping, thefts, and rapes that happen there more frequently during Mardi Gras occur because the local government tolerates and even markets the fact that people will be able to drink on the street, that public displays of drunkenness will not be prosecuted, and that lewd behavior will not be punished. Inevitably, some people will take it further. (The city government tolerates this behavior because the thousands and thousands of tourists bring a lot of money there.)

Others may have been the result of young men with access to mass amounts of alcohol for the first time who come from a totally different culture, with different, and to me, abhorrent customs.

A pronounced police presence, mass round-ups and stiff penalties are the answer, as I've already said. It's the broken window approach I've already described. Punish the lesser offenses, and the message goes out and all crime rates go down.

I also totally get that many Europeans don't want to have to deal with the problems caused by a mass migration of young men with these kinds of attitudes. I don't want it for Italy either.

However, from the way some of you were talking I was imagining dozens of rapes in each town, women having their clothes ripped off and groped by a circle of men and other horrendous scenarios, not someone deliberately spitting water at a woman (if you're even sure that in that particular situation that's actually what happened and what was said). My dear Epoch, whatever the genesis of fascism, Nazism added a large racist component. I recommend Shirer's "The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich". Written by someone who actually covered all those years as observer and journalist, and indeed interviewed many of many characters, it's still one of the best treatments of the subject, and I'm not the only one who thinks so. The early chapters where he discusses the values and attitudes and belief sets of northern, central and eastern Europe from the late 19th century are particularly informative.

Never crossed my mind. Perhaps you don't have any idea what it is to live in a free country, how it feels to be accepted from day one, how to work together with tolerant people of all races, sexes and religions and to build one of the best country in the world.
Yeah, is that why you can't stay across Atlantic? Lets make a deal LeBrok, keep your citizens and army out of here, and we'll keep out of America and we'll see who'll be first to whine.

And I'm the one living in fear, lol. Watch out Ikea the Nato, capitalists, gays, Albanians, Western Europe Ideas, etc are coming to Serbia, to get you, lol. Yes, I'm the one who is in fear. Convince yourself if it makes you feel better.
No dude, I'm am living in fear, because you, your government, your army and you military alliance won't leave me and my country alone. I'm really concerned what you are about to do next because what you have already done here on Balkans obviously was not enough, but are pressuring for more. WTH, you already know what we think about you here. Nothing good....

These migrants are product of your actions. Take them with you if you like them so much.

Yeah, is that why you can't stay across Atlantic? Lets make a deal LeBrok, keep your citizens and army out of here, and we'll keep out of America and we'll see who'll be first to whine.

We only stopped you from mass killing and reping Bosnians. There rest, where your country Serbia is going, is up to Serbians. Majority of Serbians I would add. If you don't like what you see in Serbia complain to your neighbors who voted this government in. You live in democracy now, you have what you make.

Lastly: Your world is falling apart LeBrok.
I checked the news today on all the channels, BBC included, and there was nothing about this story anymore. The world is already forgotten.
Pendulum might swing to the right during next elections in Germany and few others, people are scared now of Muslim immigrants, but in few years when economy recovers, IS is defeated, people will mellow down and vote to the center again.
To describe this phenomenon better let's remember the 2008 recession and the occupy wallstreet movement. Popular sentiment drifted to the left, half of the posters on Eupedia predicted the end of USA and EU and capitalism in general. Today capitalism and EU is still here and US has again the strongest economy in the world. Sentiment shifted to the center again and nobody even mentions occupy movement.
I'm sure you'll be the one who has to eat crow.

But have you taken a look at figure 2 yet?
Let me reciprocate with your words with a little change in bold.

PS: The reason I won't answer your question on figure 2 is that you are forcing an anti-migration agenda upon me that way. You can take your agenda somewhere else. Preferable far from Europe.
Not mentioning translation problem of lengthy research pdf.

I want you to take back your insinuations that what happened is Köln is normal European behaviour.
It was very irrespectful and insulting. I call that racism.
Stop making up your own definitions then. Use words as they meant to be used, unless you are a poet. ;)

Sweden: Correlation Between Ethnicity and Rape/Violent Crime

Sweden: Rape Capital of the West
Rape Capital of Europe, and Recent Rise in Violent Crime
>Sweden has 2nd highest rape/ratio in the world according to a 2010 survey.
>Sweden's population has grown 18.7% since 1975, but violent crime has grown 300% and rape has grown 1,472% since 1975.
>Ethnic/religious background of criminals can't be learned because "Swedish law forbids registration based on people's ancestry or religion."

Most Opening Country to Immigration/Refugees in Europe
>In 1975 Sweden was essentially 100% ethnic Swedish. Their Parliament decided to "change into a multicultural country" that year.
>By 2030 Ethnic Swedes will become an ethnic minority in their own country.(see here)
>Sweden has one of the highest percentage of immigrants in Europe(List of countries by immigrant population). As of 2011 19.6% of Swedes are foreign born, 64.3% of whom were born outside of the EU.
>Sweden lets in 1/7 refugees who come into Europe and the highest per captia in Europe(see here).

Correlation Between Rape and Ethnicity
>2002 report found 85% of those sentenced for at least 2 years for rape were foreign born.
>A 1996 report came to the conclusion North African men are 23 times more likely than Swedish men to commit rape and that Iraq/Bulgaria/Romania are 20-18 times more likely.

Denial
>According to this article: Sweden: Rape Capital of the West. Politicians, public authorities, and the media in Sweden use explanation for the rise in rape.
1: Swedes have become more prone to report crime and the law has been changed so that more sexual assaults fall under the "rape" category.
2: Swedish men are angry about modern equality of women and react with violence towards women.
3: Women are raped by those closest to them.
Facts: To the contrary, statistics show that most rapes are done by non-Swedish men and by men the women did not know personally.

>A Politician apart of the conservative Sweden Democrat Party was jailed and fined for encouraging Swedish journalist to realize there's a correlation between Muslim Immigration and a rise in Rape. He broke a law in Sweden called "denigration of ethnic groups".

This part is actually a bullshit and is demistified here:
according to Klara Selin, a sociologist at the National Council for Crime Prevention in Stockholm. She says you cannot compare countries' records, because police procedures and legal definitions vary widely.
"In Sweden there has been this ambition explicitly to record every case of sexual violence separately, to make it visible in the statistics," she says.
"So, for instance, when a woman comes to the police and she says my husband or my fiance raped me almost every day during the last year, the police have to record each of these events, which might be more than 300 events. In many other countries it would just be one record - one victim, one type of crime, one record."
The thing is, the number of reported rapes has been going up in Sweden - it's almost trebled in just the last seven years. In 2003, about 2,200 offences were reported by the police, compared to nearly 6,000 in 2010.
So something's going on.
But Klara Selin says the statistics don't represent a major crime epidemic, rather a shift in attitudes. The public debate about this sort of crime in Sweden over the past two decades has had the effect of raising awareness, she says, and encouraging women to go to the police if they have been attacked.
The police have also made efforts to improve their handling of cases, she suggests, though she doesn't deny that there has been some real increase in the number of attacks taking place - a concern also outlined in an Amnesty International reportin 2010.
"There might also be some increase in actual crime because of societal changes. Due to the internet, for example, it's much easier these days to meet somebody, just the same evening if you want to. Also, alcohol consumption has increased quite a lot during this period.
"But the major explanation is partly that people go to the police more often, but also the fact that in 2005 there has been reform in the sex crime legislation, which made the legal definition of rape much wider than before."
So an on-the-face-of-it international comparison of rape statistics can be misleading. The change in law meant that cases where the victim was asleep or intoxicated are now included in the figures. Previously they'd been recorded as another category of crime.

This part might be true, though it is hard to believe that Romanians are 20 times more violent than Swedes. Supposed report is here if someone can translate from Swedish.

See? You ask for stats, but you want stats that prove your point only. That is why I consider you are an utterly unreliable, although mildly amusing, source.

I'm sure you'll come up with some official definition, but to me having unfounded prejudices against a certain group of people is racism.

Well, I sort of like you too, so I'm glad you've clarified some of your statements.

That would most likely help. Hell, nobody in Germany would consider it a bad idea. But don't you consider it strange that feminists talk about a perceived rape culture on campus, yet completely ignore a culture that considers western clad women filthy whores? And trust me: I have heard that phrase all to often. And doesn't it strike you that as these kind of things happen a number of people, quite often exactly the same people that try to bring perceived campus rape culture under attention, refuse to bring up migrants culture?

I also totally get that many Europeans don't want to have to deal with the problems caused by a mass migration of young men with these kinds of attitudes. I don't want it for Italy either.

Yes, I saw you had a Oriana Fallaci avatar a while ago.

However, from the way some of you were talking I was imagining dozens of rapes in each town, women having their clothes ripped off and groped by a circle of men and other horrendous scenarios, not someone deliberately spitting water at a woman (if you're even sure that in that particular situation that's actually what happened and what was said). Surely you understand the difference?

The picture is iconic because it shows what the migrants bring with them: The Middle East and its view on Western women as filthy whores. Unlike the perceived rape culture on campus we now have a real rape culture (I dislike the word but as it is used by feminists I will keep using it), imported by migrants.

A cover up is one thing. However, I sat through weeks of interviews on CNN, NBC, CBS etc. where witness after witness claimed they saw the young black man put up his hands and say, "Stop, don't shoot!", before being gunned down. You have no idea of the unreliability of so-called reliable eye-witness accounts. Even when interviewed just an hour after an incident, you'll get numerous often conflicting versions. Sometimes people are lying, most of the time they are "conforming" their narrative to what they've heard or is acceptable or will get them attention. Don't misunderstand me; I don't doubt a lot of bad stuff happened.

Ha! This is very interesting, because it forces me to think on how my bullshit filter - an indispensable asset - works. There is the fact that the story is made from pieces, all gathered from different sources with different "interests". The Baltimore stories were all coming from people with the same "interest", i.e. trying to prove that the police shoots random blacks. There is the fact that the officials didn't try to cover up the stories of harassment anymore, once the story broke, but try to cover up the fact that these were recent asylum seekers, which to me points out that they were aware of the harassment stories and knew how bad it was. Lastly, what surfaced looked like something that isn't at all commonly known in Europe but has been occurring in the Middle East: http://speisa.com/modules/articles/...-taharrush-and-now-it-has-come-to-europe.html

User gyms already posted on that a few reactions ago.

So you and others have pointed out numerous times. Has anyone responded that this is a good thing? What do you want us to do, put a sticky at the top of the thread saying we think it's terrible that they covered it up? OK, imagine it's been done.

The implications are enormous. The police and government basically aren't trustworthy sources when it comes to minorities.

I don't want to de-rail this thread, Epoch, but yes, if necessary, a military option. Whatever the wisdom of going into Iraq originally on bad intelligence, the surge worked, and troops shouldn't have been withdrawn. For God's sake, we've had tens of thousands of troops between North and South Korea since 1951.What do you think would have happened to South Korea or even perhaps Japan without them. Oh, and get rid of some of the tribalism and try to act as an actually united Europe for once;divided, you're all going to fall.

I'll tell the responsible people next time I meet them ;) On a serious note, every involvement in this situation means picking a side, in a conflict without good sides. I know and understand that realism dictates that we must act despite the fact that all acts have nasty consequences - something brilliantly summarized by an Australian politician with the line: "Only the impotent are pure". But apart from maybe the Kurds we seriously want to avoid supporting any side, at this point in the Syrian war. The only other option we may have would be supporting Assad. Potent, but very, very impure would be to strike a deal with him and and offer support for accepting back migrants. What is the level of impurity we are willing to accept?

My dear Epoch, whatever the genesis of fascism, Nazism added a large racist component. I recommend Shirer's "The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich". Written by someone who actually covered all those years as observer and journalist, and indeed interviewed many of many characters, it's still one of the best treatments of the subject, and I'm not the only one who thinks so. The early chapters where he discusses the values and attitudes and belief sets of northern, central and eastern Europe from the late 19th century are particularly informative.

I tend to like Ian Kershaw more on the subject, and to have a look at what Germans thought during the 12 Nazi years this book: http://press.princeton.edu/titles/1051.html

We only stopped you from mass killing and reping Bosnians.

Lies. Serbians wanted to depart from Bosniaks and let Bosniaks have their own state. How many more times are you gonna play dumb?! Why did US and NATO pressured Bosniaks to start a war? Why did your dear democrats did it, Le Brok?

BTW you still don't recognize the difference between Bosnian and Bosniak, it's obvious that you don't even have an idea what even happened in the region, and still you have the courage to talk about it from in that tone. Disgusting.

There rest, where your country Serbia is going, is up to Serbians. Majority of Serbians I would add. If you don't like what you see in Serbia complain to your neighbors who voted this government in. You live in democracy now, you have what you make.

You're disgusting persona. Playing an angel while watching your government ruining peoples lives and gloating upon it. Can't believe what a hypocrite you are. I'm totally clear why you run out of Europe as soon as you could.
And, yes, I'm convinced that it is your worst nightmare to come back here.

I'm sure you'll come up with some official definition, but to me having unfounded prejudices against a certain group of people is racism.
The only prejudice I have is against racist like you. You don't want just the rapists or the thieves out of Europe, you want all the Muslims and Immigrants out. This is a discrimination of the whole group. You are a racist to the bone.

If you can't read and understand posts, or express yourself logically, than I advise you to shut up on serious matters. All of us agreed here that described attacks are terrible and perpetrators should be prosecuted and punished. The thing some of us didn't agree on is this discriminatory conviction of many here that all immigrants should be removed, take blame for what happened, or new immigrants not to be accepted anymore.
We never even slightly suggested that women shouldn't be present in these places, and take any blame. They are completely innocent and victimised! Where the hell you see prejudice and racism in it?!!! For god sake, scroll up up to our posts, read up, memorised this time, and don't say stupid things anymore.

Do you understand what is going on now? Do you understand our position now? Do you understand that there is no racism in protecting of people against "mob lynching" or "your village justice" which is present here?

I advise you to tread water carefully with your accusations and speak wisely, or one of us will be kicked out of Eupedia very soon.

Cultural Marxism: An offshoot of Marxism that gave birth to political correctness, multiculturalism and "anti-racism." Unlike traditional Marxism that focuses on economics, Cultural Marxism focuses on culture and maintains that all human behavior is a result of culture (not heredity / race) and thus malleable. Cultural Marxists absurdly deny the biological reality of gender and race and argue that gender and race are “social constructs”. Nonetheless, Cultural Marxists support the race-based identity politics of non-whites. Cultural Marxists typically support race-based affirmative action, the proposition state (as opposed to a nation rooted in common ancestry), elevating non-Western religions above Western religions, speech codes and censorship, multiculturalism, diversity training, anti-Western education curricula, maladaptive sexual norms and anti-male feminism, the dispossession of white people, and mass Third World immigration into Western countries. Cultural Marxists have promoted idea that white people, instead of birthing white babies, should interracially marry or adopt non-white children. Samuel P. Huntington maintained that Cultural Marxism is an anti-white ideology. Critics of Cultural Marxism have maintained that Cultural Marxists intend to commit genocide against white people through mass non-white immigration, assimilation, transracial adoption and miscegenation.

So I have waited with my answer until I got further informations Now I have them.

First of all these incidences are typical for what happenspredominantly in North Africa since several years. It is called "taharrush gamea" translated "group rape".

Than I found another article that kinda disproved the accusation of one of the cops. One of the cops said "some of the people there were grinning towards them and tearing appart there residency papers with the words 'I am Syrian, we are guests of Merkel you can't do anything to us, I will get me one tommorow again'."

Well local authorities don't believe this story and said this can't be true because the refugees don't get simple papers but have ID cards which you can't simply tear appart as claimed. This alone kinda makes this story kinda dubious.

Another thing that the local authorities said it was North African gangs and that they came via the France route, however some of them are registered as Syrians. Well the authorities had an explanation for that too and it was actually widely known. Some of the so called "Syrian refugees are actually not really Syrian.

They told the media, "when some of these guys arrived they claimed to be from Syria when we brought a Syrian translater to them who didn't understand them very well and testified that they speak the Maghreb Dialect (Maghreb is the Arabic word for West which is North Africa), they claimed that their parents were originally from Maghreb but had settled in Syria a decade ago therefore they had the Maghreb accent. "

However looking at the incidence this statement seems rather like a lie.

For further informations google taharrush gamea
